"If You Must Play Chess" by Arnold Denker. Published in hardback by McKay in 1947. 190pp. First Edition. Betts 29-34. The book is in Good Plus condition, for its age. It has clearly been well cared for over the years. The binding is tight and the internal pages are all very clean and unmarked. The boards are very clean. The book is inscription and annotation free. It is free of foxing apart from some unsightly specks to the top edge block (see scan). The page edge block is otherwise clean. The dustjacket is also in Good Plus condition. It has miniscule crumpled damage at the head and tail of the spine plus a tiny area of accompanying surface loss. The spine area has sunned a little and the rear cover has light scuffing to note. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
