"Practical Chess Endings" by Irving Chernev. Published in hardback by Faber & Faber in 1962. First UK Edition. 318pp. Betts 23-25. "A collection of 300 composed studies that are likely to occur in practical play". The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is good (although little shaky) and there is no shelf lean. The internal pages are all clean and inscription free apart from a previous owner's name on the front pastedown. The book is free of foxing and the edge blocks are clean. The dustjacket is also in Good Plus condition. It has a small stain on the rear panel and miniscule chips to the head and tail of the spine (see scans). The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Further scanned images are available on request. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £3.00. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
