DESCRIPTION

"A Treasury of British Chess Masterpieces" by Fred Reinfeld. Published in hardback by Chatto and Windus in 1950. First Edition. 244pp. Betts 24-64. The book is in Good Plus conditon for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. There is a previous owner's signature in pen on the front endpaper plus a couple of pencil entries that will erase. There is also a previous owner's ink stencil on the Preface page (see scans). Apart from the above, the volume is inscription and annotation free. The boards are clean, as are the page edge blocks. The internal pages are clean. The book is free of foxing. The dustjacket is also in Good Plus condition. It has a closed tear and some scuffing/discolouration to note. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
