DESCRIPTION

"Modern Chess Miniatures" by L. Barden and W. Heidenfeld. Published in hardback by Routledge and Kegan Paul in 1960. First Edition. 147pp. Betts 24-85. The book is in Good overall condition for its age. The binding is tight and the book stands straight with no shelf lean. The internal pages are all clean apart from sellotape residue on both endpapers (see scan). The main depredation to note is heavy foxing along the side and top edge blocks (see scan). A very few pages have light foxing to their extremities but by and large the foxing is limited to the edge blocks. The book is inscription free. The dustjacket is in Very Good condition. It is complete and has only a few light specks of scuffing/discolouration, mainly to the rear panel. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
