DESCRIPTION

"Gedenk Boek: P.F. van Hoorn" compiled by M. Liket. Published in softback by W. Salm in 1938. First Edition. 91pp. L/N: 3077. Biography, appreciations and several annotated games in Dutch language and algebraic notation. The booklet is in Fair condition for its age. The binding is fragile as around half of the spine covering has been removed. There is a small piece missing from the front panel and a larger piece missing from the rear panel (see scans). The rear panel also has scuffing marks and a very small puncture hole in it. The front panel has a small area of surface loss and edge chipping. The booklet has a fragile feel to it and needs careful handling. It has a strong shelf lean. The page edge block is tanned from age. Internally the booklet is in better condition as it is clean and inscription free. The pages are unmarked and there is no foxing present. Scarce. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
