"CHESS, Sutton Coldfield. Volume 16". Bound in publisher's brown hardback. All twelve magazines for Volume 16 (Oct 1950 - Sept 1951, Magazine Numbers 181 to 192, inclusive). 288pp. Betts 7-91. No index. The volume is in Good Plus condition, for its age. The binding is good (not tight, there is a little "give" in it) and there is no shelf lean. The covers are clean apart from a few tiny white specks that can be seen "in the light" (see scan). The gilt lettering on the spine has worn away. Internally the volume is very clean and appears to be inscription free apart from the occasional pen or pencilled tick at the start of annotated games and Problems (see 11th scan). Several magazines have a vertical crease from having been in the post, back in the day. The page edge block is lightly tanned. Small dent to the top edge of the front board (see scan). Free of foxing. Moderate musty odour. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
