"CHESS, Sutton Coldfield. Volume 17". Bound in publisher's brown hardback. All twelve magazines for Volume 17 (Oct 1951 - Sept 1952, Magazine Numbers 193 to 204, inclusive). 250pp. Betts 7-91. Includes index. The volume is in Good Minus condition, for its age. The binding is good (not tight, there is a fair amount of "give" in it) and there is no shelf lean. The front cover has a few circle and specks stains on it (see scan). The gilt lettering on the spine has nearly worn away. Internally the volume is clean and appears to be inscription free. The page edge block is tanned. Free of foxing. Shop sticker on the front endpaper. A couple of issues have their covers bound in. Mild musty odour. Games and positions are in English descriptive notation. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
