COMPLETE 1st VOLUMEN
Sanz, José (Dir.): "EL AJEDREZ ESPAÑOL" Revista Mensual Ilustrada. Complete 1st Volumen (Tomo I) of years 1934-1935. Años I-II (1st Epoch). Numbers 1-16.
Madrid, El Ajedrez Español, 1934-1935. Private quarter leather binding with gold title in spine. Publisher Sheet (supplied in loose double-sided photocopy. Practically always missing. I only saw it once) + 512 pages (about thirty!! pages and photo sheets are not included in the pagination) + VIII Index pages (between pages 498-499). Printing on very good quality paper, similar to glossy paper. Bound without covers. 24 x 17,5 cm. In Spanish.
Very good to excellent: Slight and normal defects on the covers and on the spine, with a couple of faint and small spots and light rubbing on the spine. Inisde it has few marks (a cross or similar) very light in ink in 14 pages (maybe a few more, but I have slightly gone through the magazine page by page and have only found these 14 pages: 62, 141, 158-159, 183-184, 218, 221-222, 253, 279, 346, 382 and 447), and some pages (relatively few) with very slight foxing. Otherwise, inside in excellent condition. The last 2 photos are from the Publisher Sheet of the copy auctioned in one of my previous auctions.

Spanish magazine of high quality, some national tournaments, with its crosstables, only published in this magazine, national and international panorama, section of problems, etc.....
