"The Chess Struggle in Practice: Lessons from the famous Zurich Candidates Tournament, 1953" by David Bronstein. Published in hardback by Batsford in 1980. First UK Edition. 499pp. The book is in Very Good condition. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The boards are very clean and the gilt lettering on the spine is still bright. The page edge blocks are clean (a few small, light stains mainly on the top edge). Internally the book is very clean and inscription free. The dustjacket is also in Very Good condition. It is complete and suffers only from light, age related, tanning to its extremities plus minor crumpling to the head and tail of the spine. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
