"The British Chess Magazine, 1931". Privately bound in blue hardback with gilt lettering on the spine. Published by Whitehead & Miller in 1931. First Edition. 556pp. Volume 51. The volume is in Very Good condition for its age. With title page and index. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The volume is free of foxing. The page edge blocks are clean. Internally the volume appears to be without any handwritten annotations and is inscription free. The internal pages are all very clean and the volume has clearly been very well cared for over the years. The only obvious depredation to the volume is some superficial damage to the rear board in a couple of places where it appears that a sharp object has landed (see scans). There is a "CHESS, Sutton Coldfield" sticker on the front pastedown. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
