DESCRIPTION

"How To Beat Bobby Fischer" by Edmar Mednis. Published in hardback by Quadrangle Books in 1974. First US Edition. 282pp. The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The internal pages are all very clean and inscription free. The book is free of foxing and looks largely unread. The only depredation of note to the book is mild staining on the edge block (see scan). The dustjacket is in Good Plus condition. It is complete but suffers from scuffing to the rear panel plus a couple of tiny superficial damage nicks. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM CUSTOMERS IN THE EU AREA (and the USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (NB. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of the GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
