"The Golden Treasury of Chess" by the Editors of Chess Review (ie. F. Wellmuth, et al). Published in hardback by Arco Publications in 1958 as an updated version of the 1943 and 1956 versions. 326pp. Betts 24-84. The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The page edge block is clean. Internally the volume is very clean and inscription free. The dustjacket is in Good condition. It has slight loss to the head and tail of the spine (see scan). There is a small piece missing from the rear panel and other small depredations such as nicks and crease marks. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. 571 unannotated games in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request.
