DESCRIPTION

"British Chess Masters - Past and Present" by Fred Reinfeld. Published in hardback by Bell and Sons in 1947. First Edition. 93pp. Betts 24-52. The book and its dustjacket are in Good Plus condition. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The book is foxing free. The page edge blocks are clean. There is an ownership sticker on the front pastedown and a stamp on the front endpaper (see scan). There is a previous owner's name and date on the front pastedown plus several very small penned annotations and ticks added to games (see scans). There are several penned ticks next to games in the 'List of Games' page plus a penned reference number opposite (see scan). The dustjacket is almost complete but has miniscule loss at the head and tail of the spine plus nicks, short closed tears and scuffing on the rear panel (see scan). It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
