Tanning to covers but internally clean and inscription free. Recent small glue repair to the stapled binding. A few unannotated games but mainly "curious chess facts". 2. "Chess Masterpieces" edited by W. Watts. Published in stapled softback by The Daily News in circa 1924. First Edition. Betts 24-25. 58pp. Condition: Fair/Fragile. A Reading Copy. Covers heavily tanned and chipped. Page edge block browned. Internally in Good, clean condition and inscription free. 50 lightly annotated master games of the era are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request.
