DESCRIPTION

"Chess Strategy and Tactics - Fifty Master Games Selected and Annotated" by Fred Reinfeld and Irving Chernev. Published in semi-stiff spiral bound card by The Black Knight Press in 1933. First Edition. 100pp + Openings index and adverts. Betts 24-31. The booklet is in Good overall condition for its age. The covers show evidence of age and handling which is not surprising considering the nature of the booklet binding. There is a light crease to the bottom, right of the front cover. Internally the (glossy) pages are clean and inscription free although there is light tanning to page extremities. The booklet is free of foxing. The page edge block has tanned from age. There is a short (approx.25mm) closed tear on one internal page. I would grade the covers as being in Good Minus condition and the internal pages as being in Good Plus condition. Scarce. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM CUSTOMERS IN THE EU AREA (and the USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (NB. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of the GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
