Original score sheet from the game Korchnoi - Kavalek, Ceska Trebova 1997. Handwritten by Viktor Korchnoi and signed by both players.
It was a small closed tournament named KETTLER CUP, held on September 20, 1997 in the Czech town of Ceska Trebova. The participants were Viktor Korchnoi, Lubomir Kavalek, Jan Smejkal and Lubomir Ftacnik. Although it was a rapid tournament, the games were recorded by the players.
The photo of the score sheet Korchnoi - Kavalek was published in the Czech chess magazine Sachinfo 1997/13 (page 513), where is also a detailed report about the tournament (pages 511-518).
