A historical sketch based on the latest sources. Leipzig, Ronniger, 1926. With some diagrams. 61 pages, 1 leaf with publisher's advertisements. L/N 281. Kieler Schachkatalog 769.

One of the important contributions to the history of chess by Ludwig Bachmann, in which he compares the openings treated by the masters Lucena, Damiano and Lopez side by side. Print on slightly tinted paper. Rare and well-preserved issue.

Condition: Green linen. Slightly sun bleached. Paper yellowed.
