DESCRIPTION

"Reti's Best Games of Chess" by Harry Golombek. Published in hardback by Bell and Sons in 1954. First Edition. 173pp. Betts 29-124. The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The boards are very clean and the gilt lettering on the spine is still bright. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The page edge blocks are evenly tanned from age only. Internally the book is in Very clean condition and is annotation and foxing free. There is a previous owner's stamp on the front endpaper. The dustjacket is in Good Plus condition. It has minor loss to the head & tail of the spine (see scans). The spine has also discoloured with age. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
