DESCRIPTION

"A Gnat May Drink: 100 Annotated Games of Chess from 1900-1999" by Jonathan Hinton. Published in hardback by the author in 1999. First Edition. 427pp. The book is in Very Good Plus condition. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The page edge blocks are very clean and the book looks largely unread. The boards are very clean and the gilt lettering on the spine is still bright. Internally the book is inscription, annotation and foxing free. The only depredation to note is evidence of tanning to the page extremities which is presumably due to a poorer quality of paper used in publication. The dustjacket is also in Very Good Plus condition and is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Further scanned images are available on request. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
