"The Chess Review, 1937. Volume 5" edited by Israel Horowitz. Published in blue hardback by The Chess Review in 1937. First Edition. 300 large pages. Betts 7-76. All twelve magazines for the year 1937. Covers bound in. Includes index. The volume is in Good Plus overall condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The boards are clean, better than commensurate with age. The blue boards is darker than how the scanned images have portrayed them. The spine has faded and darkened although the gilt lettering is still visible. Internally the pages are lightly age tanned, to the extremities only. Internally the volume is very clean and inscription free. It has clearly been well cared for over the years. There are no annotations or foxing present. The page edge blocks are lightly tanned from age. Scarce. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request.
