"The Chess Review, 1935. Volume 3" edited by Israel Horowitz. Published in green hardback by The Chess Review in 1935. First Edition. 292 large pages. Betts 7-76. All twelve magazines for the year 1935. Covers bound in. Includes index. The volume is in Very Good overall condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The boards are clean and the gilt lettering on the spine is still bright. Internally the volume is in remarkably good condition. The pages are very clean and foxing free. There are no inscriptions or annotations present although there is a previous owner's stamp and date on the front endpaper (see scan). The page edge blocks are evenly tanned from age. It is obvious that this book has been very well cared for over the years. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Scarce. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
