Bachmann L., Geistreiche Schachpartien. Fünftes Bändchen:
Bachmann, Ludwig. Ingenious chess games of old and new times. 5th volume at the same time yearbook for 1895. Contents: The great chess tournament at Hastings with the biographies of the participants and the chess championship in Petersburg. Ansbach, Brügel, 1896. 8°. 1 sheet, IV, XX, 178 pages, 1 sheet. Original publisher binding with embossed front cover. LN 3186.
The German chess writer Ludwig Bachmann (1856-1937) published the "Schachjahrbuch", which was published until 1930, with the first 5 parts each bearing the title "Ingenious Chess Games ...".
Condition: Binding with some wear. Defects on hinge. Title page with tiny loss of paper (5mmx1mm), no text loss. Pages slightly tanned. Otherwise inside nice and clean. Overall Assessment = Good!
Postage EUR (insurance included): Non-EU countries please ask! I try to choose the most cost-effective yet reliable way.
I combine shipping – you always pay just real postage! The packing materials are free.
I send with the so-called "Paketmarke" (for further information https://www.post.at/privat_versenden_paket_paketmarke.php) which is, in general, the most cost-effective and reliable way to send parcels to Austria. One feature is that the shipment costs are defined via the longest and the shortest side of the parcel. The weight isn´t important although it is limited to 31,5 kg. The parcel is also insured up to € 500,-.
Therefore if you win more than 1 lot and the books fit into the same parcel, the shipping costs will be the same as for 1 book.
Important: Please wait with payment until you get my confirmation email, as the shipping costs have to be calculated.
