The Chess Monthly 1881/1882 Vol. III:
The Chess - Monthly. Edited by L. Hoffer & J. H. Zukertort. Volume III, September 1881 - August 1882. London, Wade, 1881 - 1882. 8°. With a lot of diagrams. IV, 380 pages. Brown half leather binding with a label and rich gold plating on the spine. L/N 6138; Betts 7-25. With year title and index. Rare and important chess magazine with a monthly overview of chess events from all over the world, chess articles, games, problems, endgames and book reviews. Nicely bound edition with marbled paper edges and endpapers.
Condition: Binding slightly bumped. Former owner plate on first endpaper. Slightly trimmed all around, index sheet with minor loss of numbers, table from Vienna 1882 with text loss. Very few marginalia in neat old handwriting. Otherwise inside nice and clean. Overall Assessment = Good to Very Good.

One feature is that the shipment costs are defined via the longest and the shortest side of the parcel. The weight isn´t important although it is limited to 31,5 kg. The parcel is also insured up to € 500,-.

- PM 070 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel is added max. 70 cm) GER=€14,90, other EU = €17,90
- PM 120 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel are added max. 120 cm) GER=€19,90, other EU = €22,90
Therefore if you win more than 1 lot and the books fit into the same parcel, the shipping costs will be the same as for 1 book.
