Osorno (Chile), self-published, 2003. Original softback edition. 122 pages (including the 2 safeguards and Title page). 20,6 x 16 cm. In Spanish.
Excellent: No defect worth mentioning. Only a very slight friction on the covers, something more visible on the back. Inside like new.
The book is divided into 3 parts:
- PRIMERA PARTE. MIS HISTORIAS (pages 9-76). Autobiography narrating his chess career with entertaining anecdotes.
- SEGUNDA PARTE. MIS JUEGOS FAVORITOS (pages 77-104). Analysis of his 5 favorite games, among them his beautiful victory against the legendary World Chess, the Icelandic Grandmaster Fridrik Olaffson (in Simultaneous session), as well as a deserved draw against the Chilean Grandmaster Iván Morovic (also in Simultaneous session).
- TERCERA PARTE. MIS COMPOSICIONES ARTÍSTICAS (pages 105-116). Analysis of 5 of his problems, and a rook ending of one of his games.
Maybe this is the 3rd book (most of Chess, but also some of History) by the Author, Germán Bielefeldt Van Oosterwijk, Public Administrator and Master in Public Management from the University of Los Lagos. Outstanding chess player, Youth Osorno Chess Champion between 1978-1983, and Absolute Osorno Chess Champion in 1988, 1989 and 2010.
