(Praha), self-published, 2008. Original publisher's cloth edition with gilt lettering to front cover and spine, with page separator (red ribbon) and top edge of pages tinted yellow. 320 pages + free enclosed Sheet of errata (the errata Sheet is not the original that came with the book, version 1.0, but a print of the updated one, version 1.2, with 3 new errata added. Corrected version PDF 1.2 was published 20.12.2008, after the publication of the book). 21,6 x 15,7 cm. In Czech, with English comments there and there and ca 10-page English explanations at the end. Copy 49 of a Limited and Numbered Edition of 50 copies.

 

As new: No notable defect. Virtually like new. IMPORTANT!! "The book contains 234 best fairy problems of Czech composer Vaclav Kotesovec. Since 1970, the author composed about 1750 fairy chess problems and the best ones are presented in the book - all with deep annotations and solutions, sorted by types of problems, accompanied with 609 diagrams.

 

Several indexes.

 

The book is in Czech with figurine notation, with occasional notes in English. The book also contains 10-page explanations in English - Definitions and Indexes.

 

Vaclav Kotesovec (born 1956) is a well-known Czech fairy chess composer and programmer."
