"My 60 Memorable Games" by Bobby Fischer. Published in hardback by Faber and Faber in 1969. 384pp. First UK Edition. The book is in Good Plus overall condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The book is free of foxing. The boards are clean and the gilt lettering on the spine is still strong. The internal pages are all very clean and inscription free apart from several pencilled ticks to the Contents pages and a few at the start of annotated games (see scans). These will erase. There is also a book review (presumably dated 1969, when the book was first published) pasted onto the front pastedown that will not be easily removed without damaging the surface underneath. Apart from these minor depredations the only other thing to note is very mild foxing to the page edge blocks that does not extend on to the pages themselves (see scans). There is a 'CHESS, Sutton Coldfield ' sticker on the front endpaper. The book has a faint musty odour, probably due to poor storage conditions at some point in the past. The book's dustjacket is also in Very Good condition with no areas of loss or tears but a little stain at the head of the spine and a light crease to the top of the front cover (see scans). It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £3.50. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
