Very good / dust jacket not issued: rear top corner a little bumped, otherwise OK. Text is clean with no writings.
The first part of the book, on 330 pages, is a history of chess in the Primorsky Krai = the area in the far east, around Vladivostok, from the beginnings to the present. 150 partially annotated games, 40 pages on correspondence chess, 60 pages on composition with 100 problems and studies, biographical information on players, etc.
The second part of the book is a biography of GM Alexander Zaitsev, 1935-1971, with about 150 partially annotated games, results, crosstables, photos,etc
