Very good to excellent: The only noteworthy defect is the cream to light gray discoloration of most of the spine and the upper edge of the covers. Otherwise inside in excellent condition without writings.
Excellent biography of the historic Chilean International Chess Master, René Letelier Martner, 5 times Champion of Chile, and 7 times Olympiad participant (3 on the 1st board), with important victories against famous opponents, such as Bobby Fischer in Mar del Plata 1959, or Miguel Najdorf in Montevideo 1954.
