All twelve (loose) issues of "CHESS, Sutton Coldfield" for Volume 16. October 1950 - September 1951. Issue numbers 181-192, inclusive. 288 large pages. No index. Betts 7-91. Ten of the magazines are in Good condition for their age while the other two are in Fair condition. The covers have mild scuffing or discolouration (plus the occasional stamp mark or nick to extremities, see scans) but they have protected the internal pages well over the years and they appear to be inscription and annotation free. The cover of issue 192 is attached to only one staple while the covers of issue 191 have come away from their staples (see scan). The staples in a couple of magazines have rusted but not bled. Several magazines have a vertical crease from having been in the post back in the day. Games and positions are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX.
