"The Second and Third Rosenwald Trophy Chess Championships, New York 1955-56" by Jack Spence. Published in hardback by The White Castle Press in 1958. First Edition. 100 large pages. Betts 25-244. Limited edition number #58. The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The book covers have age related staining but are now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. The internal pages are all very clean and inscription free. The third Rosenwald was 13 year old Bobby Fischer's first major tournament appearance where he scored 4.5/11 for a share of 8th place. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Scarce. 'Signed For' postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £4.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
