DESCRIPTION

"Chess Review, 1954 (Vol 22)" edited by Isaac Horowitz. Privately bound in grey and blue hardback. First Edition. Betts 7-76. 384 large pages. Includes index. All twelve magazines for the calendar year of 1954. The volume is in Very Good condition for its age. The boards are very clean. No dustjacket. No title lettering on spine. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. Internally the pages have tanned a little from age and all have a light vertical crease, presumably from the original magazine having been in the post, back in the day. The volume appears to be inscription, annotation and foxing free and in very good, clean condition. It is obvious that the volume has been well cared for over the years. Covers NOT bound in. The page edge blocks are lightly and evenly tanned from age. Further scanned images are available on request. Heavy. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £4.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
