DESCRIPTION

A very hard to find chess booklet: "The Reshevsky vs Kashdan 1942-43 US Championship Chess Match" by Reuben Fine. Published in softback by the Correspondence Chess League of America in 1944. First Edition. 27pp. Betts 27-49. The booklet is in Good Plus condition for its age. The covers have protected the internal pages well over the years. The covers have mild age-related discolouration and light dents but no loss or tears (see scans). Internally the booklet has a previous owner's name plate on the first (the title) page but there are no other inscriptions or annotations apart from a pen line through a printing error (see scan). I have tried to scan images of all the minor depredations that I could find in the booklet but considering the age and flimsy covering that has protected it over the years, it is still smart-looking and clean. Further scanned images are available on request. Rare. Insured postage rates will apply, please ask me for details and I will look up your destination but it's only light so postage should be reasonable. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
