Very good: Covers with slight defects, but nothing particularly noteworthy (some tiny break in some edge, and some small and light stain), and traces of having peeled off an old label in the lower inside corner of the back cover, as well as an ex-libris on the 1st safeguard. Inside in a very good condition, perhaps excellent.

Match to 18 games, won by Reshevsky against Najdorf, by the minimum, 9.5-8.5, played in Buenos Aires from June 1-29, 1953.
The book contains a Review of the 1952 Match, played in New York-Mexico-San Salvador by the same players, also over 18 games, with Reshevsky also winning 11-7. It also contains the chess career of both players. Logically, all the games of the 1953 Match in Buenos Aires, with good analysis and comments. And at the end it contains an Appendix with Analysis of 18 masterful games (Alekhine, Botvinik, Smyslov, Szabo, etc.) related to match openings.
