Potsdam, A. Stein's Verlagsbuchhandlung, (1904). Beautiful original publisher cloth edition, with the top outer edge of the pages tinted red. Portrait frontispiece + Title page + VIII unnumbered pages (including Index) + 216 pages. 21,2 x 14 cm. In German.
Very good to excellent: Minor defects: some very light rubbing on the covers (more visible in spine and corners), some slight browning on the inside edges of the covers and safeguards, and very small stains (specks) on the outer lateral edges and also on the bottom of the pages. The only relatively major defect is the tear inside the spine that affects the Portrait (with the lower outer corner broken and loose, although the loose piece is present) and the first 8 pages, so these pages are somewhat loose, and with some slight wrinkles or tears, but everything is complete and in its place. The spine fades, causing a darkening of the Title on the spine. Ex-libris (inside front cover) and label (safeguard) from former owner, Italian collector Mr. Pellegrini. Inside in excellent condition, without writings. Honestly, I think it is a copy in excellent condition and very pleasant in the hands.

The book contains 160 Fischer problems. And at the end an Appendix with 14 Shinkman problems.
