"The Chess Struggle in Practice: Lessons from the famous Zurich Candidates Tournament, 1953" by David Bronstein. Published in hardback by Batsford in 1980. First UK Edition. 499pp. The book is in Very Good Plus condition. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The boards are very clean and the gilt lettering on the spine is still bright. The page edge blocks are clean (a few small, light stains mainly on the top edge). Internally the book is very clean and inscription free. It is free of foxing. The dustjacket is in Very Good condition. It is complete and suffers only from a couple of light creases to extremities. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
