DESCRIPTION

"The Chess Companion" by Irving Chernev. Published in hardback by Faber and Faber in 1974. 287pp. The book is in Very Good Plus condition. The binding is tight and the book has no shelf lean or bowing present. The internal pages are all very clean and unmarked and it is obvious that this book has been well cared for over the years. The book is inscription free and has no foxing. The page edge block has very mild age related discolouration to the top edge only. The dustjacket is in Very Good condition and is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games and positions are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.50. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
