Good to very good: Minor flaws, with some light wrinkle and a small stain near the top outside corner of page 21. In general very good condition.

The Finnish Chess Federation (Suomen Keskusshakkiliitto) commissioned Suomen Tehtäväniekat to organize an International Compositions Competition on the occasion of the Chess Olympiad in Helsinki 1952. These were the winners of the 3 sections of the Competition:
Two movers: Gold medal for Musante (Argentina), Silver medal for Ellerman (Argentina), Bronze medal for Heinonen (Finlandia) and 18 Olympic Mentions.
Three movers: Gold medal for Pachman (Checoslovaquia), Silver medal for Fossum (Norway), Bronze medal for Wenda (Checoslovaquia) and 9 Olympic Mentions.
Endgames: Gold medal for Peronace (Argentina), Silver medal for Nyeviczkey (Hungary), Bronze medal for Farago (Roumania) and 6 Olympic Mentions.
