77 games from the tournament, partly annotated. One of the first books where figurine notation was used.
The book is signed by the Czech master Frantisek Treybal on the front cover. Frantisek Treybal (1882-1947) was the second official Czech chess champion. He won this title at the congress of the Czech Chess Association in Brno in 1907 (the first Czech champion was Oldrich Duras in Prague 1905). He was also the winner of the 1907 Berliner Schachgesellschaft tournament and took part in the first international tournament in Prague 1908, where he did not play well but beat Dawid Janowski. Older brother of the better known Czech master Karel Treybal.
Condition - Good: new private binding with lettering on spine and original softcover bound in, cover is a little soiled and with one sticker, some pages slightly stained.
