Sergeant, Philip W. Morphy's games of chess.

Being a selection of three hundred of his games with annotations and a biographical introduction. With 1 portrait and many diagrams. X, 351 pages. Descriptive notation. Paul Morphy (1837 - 1884) is considered one of the greatest chess masters of all time. Anderssen said after a lost game about him: "... this man plays as from another world". Bell, London 1919.

Condition: Publishers original binding. Paper yellowed. Some spots. Slight wear.
