Palatz Franz. Miniatures stratégiques. Editions des Cahiers de l'Echiquier Français, 1935. In French + foreword also in English and German. 134 + 6 pages. One plate with a photo of F. Palatz. Original softcover. LN 2771.

Contains 200 thematic problems.

Exlibris Emil Palkoska (well known Czech chess problemist).

There is a handwritten dedication in French on the endpaper from 1947. Translation: “To Dr. E. Palkoska on the occasion of his success in the Parallele 50 competition.” The dedication is not written by the author of the book, who died in 1945.

Parallèle 50 was a left-leaning cultural and political weekly, published in French in 1947-1952 in Paris under the auspices of the Czechoslovak Ministry of Information.

Condition - Good: a few brown stains around the spine on the cover, several removable notes on pages 125-131.
