Seven random vintage chess magazines, as follows: (a) Four British Chess Magazines from the 1940s. They are dated: Dec 1942, Jan 1943, Mar 1943 and Dec 1945. They are in Good condition for their age. The staples are in tact and there are no missing pages. There is a very small piece missing from the rear cover of the Mar 1943 issue. Included with these magazines is the BCM index for the year 1945. Paper browned in all magazines due to WW2 but all appear to be inscription free. (b) The New Zealand Chessplayer, Feb 1950. Good condition for its age. Staples in tact. 20 large pages. Covers quite heavily scuffed but internally clean. Scarce. (c) Two Chess Review Magazines. They are dated: Sept 1954 and May 1956. Both are in Poor condition as the former has its covers detached and the latter cover is barely hanging on to one staple. Reading copies only. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX.
