DESCRIPTION

"Great Games by Chess Prodigies" by Fred Reinfeld. Published in hardback by Macmillan in 1967. First Edition. 246pp. Betts 28-26. The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The page edge blocks have faint evidence of foxing and tanning from age. Internally the book is inscription/annotation and foxing free. The pages are toned with age but are very clean and the book feels largely unread. The dustjacketis in Good Plus condition. It has scuffing and miniscule chipping to note. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Contains annotated early games of Morphy (9), Capablanca  (8), Reshevsky (8) and Fischer (31) in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
