"Lessons From My Games: A Passion For Chess" by Reuben Fine. Published in hardback by McKay in 1958. First Edition. 225pp. Betts 29-38. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR IN INK ON THE FRONT ENDPAPER. The book is in Very Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The page edge blocks are lightly and evenly tanned from age only. The boards are very clean. Internally the volume is in very clean condition and it is obvious that the book has been well cared for over the years. Apart from Fine's signature the book is inscription/annotation and foxing free. The dustjacket is in Good Plus condition with tiny loss at the head and tail of the spine (see scans). The dustjacket also has very light scuffing to note. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. 'Signed For' postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £5.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask. Any questions, please just ask.
