Josef Marsalek – Jindrich Trapl

The scoresheet comes probably from 1960s. It is undated, written in Marsalek’s hand, signed by both players. Size 21 x 15 cm.
Very good: light signs of use.
Marsalek won in 41 moves.
Biographical data:
Josef Marsalek (born 1935), strong player, several times participated in the Czechoslovak championship. He was a member of the team, which won Student World championship in 1954 – his result was 5 of 5. Later he stopped active play.
Jindrich Trapl (1942-2010), Czech IM, player of attacking style, one of the best Czechoslovak players between 1960-1990. He was also strong correspondence player.
