"CHESS, Sutton Coldfield, Volume 2". Edited by B.H.Wood. Bound in publisher's brown hardback. Magazine issue numbers 13 - 24, inclusive (Sept 1936 - Aug 1937). 462pp. Betts 7-91. Di Felice 491. Includes index. The volume is in Very Good condition for its age. The boards are clean. The binding is tight although there is a tiny amount of shelf lean present. The gilt lettering on the spine has faded but is still readable. Internally the pages are all very clean and inscription free. It is obvious that this volume has been very well cared for over the years. The volume is free of foxing. None of the internal pages have the often seen vertical postal crease. Internal magazine pages are a little tanned from age only and there is the occasional page with light creasing but overall this is less than commensurate with age. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Scarce. Quite heavy (around 1050g unpacked). 'Signed For' postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £5.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
