"Modern End-Game Studies for the Chess Player" by Hans Bouwmeester. Published in hardback by George Bell & Sons in 1959. First UK Edition. 128pp. Betts 23-19. The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The binding is tight although there is a tiny shelf lean present. The boards are very clean. The page edge blocks have light evidence of age and handling. Internally the book is inscription/annotation and foxing free. The internal pages are very clean. The dustjacket is also in Very Good condition. It has faded along the spine area and has two miniscule chips to the dustjacket tips. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Further scanned images are available on request. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
