"British Chess Masters: Past and Present" by Fred Reinfeld. Published in hardback by George Bell and Sons in 1947. First Edition. Betts 24-52. 93pp. The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The boards are very clean. Internally the book is in excellent condition and has clearly been well cared for over the years. It is inscription/annotation and foxing free. The page edge blocks are tanned a little from age and have some foxing specks but this does not extend to any of the internal pages. The dustjacket is in Good Plus condition. It is almost complete and suffers only from small areas of loss to the head and tail of the spine and another on the rear panel (see scans). The dustjacket also has slight edge wear to extremities and moderate scuffing evident on the rear panel. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
