One card (each approx. 290mm x 250mm) with cellophane covering that contains an addressed, stamped and franked envelope from the Curacao Candidates Chess Tournament of 1962. The envelope is housed and protected in a plastic slot and is in Very Good condition. It contains the signatures of Bobby Fischer, Mikhail Tal, Efim Geller, Pal Benko and Miroslav Filip, who were 5 of the 8 Candidates. All signatures are in pen. I am aware of fake Bobby Fischer autographs sometimes cropping up on the internet so I asked Lawerence Totaro (who has written a book on the topic) for his opinion on the autograph and he stated in emails to me that he considered it genuine and similar to the way Bobby used to sign his name at that time. Furthermore, I attach a scanned image of a similar item that was sold on eBay a few years ago in which the Fischer signature complements perfectly the one offered in this auction (see last 2 scans). This document must be one of only a relatively small number in the world that contain the signatures of both Fischer and Tal. I know nothing about chess stamps but the previous owner appears to have been a diligent follower and his neat explanations on each card will be my mine also. See scans.
