Edited by B.Reilly. Leeds 1953. British Chess Federation, 18 cm, stapled. With 2 diagrams, tables, 304 pages. Original thin cardboard binding with illustrated front and lettering on spine. Betts 8-46. "For the first time, the yearbook is dated for the current season, while covering events of the previous season, there was no issue dated 1952-53. Contents include the laws of chess (1953 F.I.D.E. aproved, p.273) a few articles (including a history of the British Chess Federation, 1903-53), and 5 games played at the National Chess Centre." (according to Betts p. 65).
Condition: Some wear. Corners bumped. Paper yellowed. Stamps and penned note on front cover.
