"Lajos Portisch" by Egon Varnusz. Published in hardback by Batsford in 1979. First UK Edition. 207pp. The book and its dustjacket are in Very Good Plus condition for their age. The book looks largely unread and is very clean. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The page edge blocks are clean. The book is inscription/annotation and foxing free. Games are given in English descriptive notation. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. The Portisch autograph is on a card (dated 18th March 1986) that is loosely laid into the book and the card can, therefore, be either affixed in the book or removed and placed in some other collection. The card is also in Very Good Plus condition. Both the book and the card have clearly been very well cared for over the years. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
